Soil testing and classification is an essential element to any construction project or site clearance. Knowing what is in the soil means that any hazardous materials may be identified and safely removed before works begin.

Soil testing and classification is an essential part of your legal duty of care and with our transparent services, you will know exactly what your soil waste is composed of and how it will be disposed before we start removal.

Waste soil sample kit

We offer a comprehensive set of testing services including our own waste soil sample kit, which is suitable for both site waste and smaller volumes of stockpiled material. All our testing services focus on providing accurate results within a fast turnaround. And, of course, this process is essential for determining the most appropriate waste disposal route, including reuse on site.

The sample kit is easy to use and may be collected by a courier the following day. Testing is then carried out at a UKAS accredited laboratory with MCERTS (soil) standard. The results will be made available within 5 working days so your project can get moving as quickly as possible.

When you have large volumes of soil waste, organizing the logistics can be complex. Our team is perfectly placed to offer project supervision including ensuring full compliance with the Waste Duty of Care and reducing the workload for your site manager.

Ecofficiency offers a lump sum ‘all risk’ plan so that you can budget for your waste management with a fixed cost fee. However, we also offer a rate per load should your project require a more flexible option.
