Project Highlights

To remove hazardous fluids, gas bottles, hazardous sleepers and drug related paraphernalia.

To deliver this project within the restricted access times due to local schools.

To deliver social value to the local area as a result of the works.

Project Management

Ecofficiency provided a fully managed service, along with a Senior Project Manager throughout the lifetime of the works, employed in house.

During the project works, Asbestos Watch and Brief and fully trained Banksmen were supplied, all employed in-house by Ecofficiency.

Our fast-track Waste classification testing service ensured the spoil being removed from site was sent to pre determined and fully compliant treatment sites.

Using our network of supply chain partners, Ecofficiency were able to provide the most environmentally friendly and cost effective routes for the spoil.

The Results

Ecofficiency were able to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the project by using larger vehicles to take away the spoil and use back loads to deliver in aggregates to the site. Through the use of local supply chain partners, larger vehicles and delivering aggregates on backloads, Ecofficiency saved a total of 9.6 Tonnes CO2 of carbon emissions on this project.

100% diversion from landfill was achieved on this project.

Ecofficiency achieved a significant financial saving and carbon reduction, by using local projects to accept the material for the client.
