Reducing our Carbon Footprint

In line with our Sustainability Strategy, Ecofficiency have been busy collating and analysing our Scope 1, 2 and some Scope 3 Data to evaluate our Carbon Footprint, we have worked with Carbon Neutral Britain to determine our Carbon Footprint of 136.10T Co2e for the period July 2021 to June 2022.

Now that we have assessed our Baseline year, we’ll be able to set reduction targets to create a defined pathway to reduce our Greenhouse Gas Emissions year on year, we’ll report on this within our 2022 Sustainability Report due to be issued shortly.

Whilst we have been busy working on assessing our own Carbon Footprint, we have also been developing our EcoIntelligence system to record and manage miles travelled between site and disposal facility, type of vehicle used, and carbon associated with the Waste EWC Code and Waste Process being followed. This will allow our clients to identify the carbon impact associated with each of their projects, this is in addition to the wide range of functions already available via our Industry Leading Portal.
