Bellway Homes – Wellfield Rise – Site has been awarded Ecofficiency’s Best Practice Award for March 2024.

The site team at Bellway Homes Wellfield Rise has been presented with the Best Practice Award for March 2024 based on these two categories:

• 100% Monthly Site Assessment score
• Dave and his site teams’ enthusiastic attitude toward segregation and the Managed Waste Service from the beginning of the project.

Ecofficiency were first introduced to the project 3 months ago, with a new division with Bellway being recently awarded to us. During the introductory phase of Ecofficiency’s Managed Waste Service, we implemented a waste management system onto site, complete with a segregated compound area with colour-coded signage, and a Toolbox Talk was given to all the site team to reinforce the importance of segregation on site.

The site manager and his teams attitude towards our unique waste management system has been commendable from the very start! He is driven to ensure the team delivers great results on site – Wellfield Rise have achieved 100% on the first site assessment score after the Toolbox Talk training. Site Manager Steve has bought into every aspect of the Managed Waste Service and has often asked questions and guidance to make sure him and his team achieve the best results they can.

When asked about how Ecofficiency have helped on the project, Stev said: “Ecofficiency’s Construction Support Advisor Steve Bailey has helped us at Bellway homes reduce the amount of wastage drastically by giving adequate and useful guidance, also by enabling us to utilize the tools they have to offer such as; the magnetic signage for tipping skips, silicone drums and skip segregation ideas shown on the toolbox talks.. I’d also like to give a special thank you to my on-site team for buying into the waste reduction methods we have implemented here at wellfield rise namely the forklift truck driver Andrew little”
