Oil Storage Regulations introduced in Wales

The Water Resources Regulations came into force in March 2016, they extend the oil storage requirements which have been in place in England since 2001, and in Scotland SInce 2006, to Wales.

The new regulations apply to storage facilities with a capacity of more than 200 litres that are above ground or within buildings.

The regulations aslo apply to waste oil storage and agricultural fuel oil storage.
